Apple does have a superior phone. That's where the profit lies and Cook makes sure something comes along in the area. Constantly. Not much new actually. 6,7, are almost the same. Aren't iPad sales off? My wife and I use Apple. We tried Samsung. iPhone is far, far superior. Windows personal machines are still junk. We actually use the iPhone as a phone. iPads are mostly a toy/reader/personal use. iMac and Mac Book Pro for business.

Apple doesn't even have a device. They will price the ""Pod" high, and Siri has a lot to learn. Not saying I won't buy one. But Apple has to prove it to me. All I see out of Apple is Cook's greed as a bean counter. Without the iPhone "Cook didn't do it" Apple would be hurting. Will the iPhone keep them on top? MS greed with their Windows OP system latest and greatest didn't help them. Plus. Buy a Amazon Echo and the music is tossed in (2million Plus tracks) for a Prime membership.
So we shall see. I do know one doesn't need a new iPhone each year.
