I was using it for quite sometime. I loved it. Them I read somewhere that it was going subscription based, so I switched to another one. I don't really like the one I'm using now. Is it the it went subscription?
I liked this one when I kept a journal, but haven't used it in a long time. The info (click on the "more" button) says you can use the Pencil with it now.
This site offers lots of info on a variety of such apps:PatOn Dec 24, 2018, at 6:01 PM, Alice Saunders lwr32@mac.com [iPad] <iPad@yahoogroups.com> wrote:I'm loving the new iPad..Pat, one app I'm looking for is one that lets me write and the app changes my writing into type. I keep a journal and I love writing in it and drawing in it. The past couple of years I've been keeping a normal on my iPad. I can add photos but not write or draw in it with a stylus. Do you know of an app, be it a note taking app or a journal that I can drop that with? That and Color Therapy is the main reason I wanted an update that could use a pencil. I've tried doesn't styluses but not being able to use them as I would a paper and pencil made using them uncomfortable.Congratulations, I'm sure you'll enjoy all your new equipment to the max! I found the original Pencil to be sturdier than I had expected. I used it for about two years and it was like new when I gave it to a family member. If I recall, the cap can attach to the edge of the iPad while the Pencil is charging. Enjoy!
PatSent from my iPad Pro2Yesterday hubby you me to the Apple Store. Boy was it crowded in the mall. He bought me the 2018 32g iPad. It uses the 1st gen pencil. I thought I was getting just the iPad but he bought me the pencil I'll too. Afterwards he took me to the Best Buy less than 5 min from our house and bought me a lavender Speck case and a pencil strap case that fits on the case. When we gotta home, I ordered the

I was afraid I'd lose the cap off my pencil and/or break the lightening charging end of the pencil. Thanks to the rubber holder, I don't think I'll lose the cap. There's a cable adapter Heather so I won't lose the adapter, which I think I'll be using more than plugging the pencil into the side of the iPad.The iPad seems faster than my iPad mini. I have to get use to the size and weight of the bigger iPad. I will. I backed up my iPad mini just before turning on my new iPad. I was able to use my mini backup to migrate to my new one. I'd never done that before. That was easy. Didn't take long either. I'm very glad I got it.
