This is a stinker, I too have struggled with it, I finally went online ad got info but still only works 1/2 time.  Good idea gone bad

I am totally stuck in splitscreen. It looks more like a slide over it for it doesn't have the dark black line dividing the two screens but it won't slide over and it doesn't have that bar in the middle of that of an actual split screen the will move it. I've watched a bunch of YouTube videos but nothing moves for me.
