Try rebooting it by holding down the Home and On/Off buttons together until the Apple logo shows up on your screen.

Earlier today i tried to send a 46 second video from my iPad to laptop. I'd already sent it to several of my friends earlier in the week with no problems. Today it decided not to work, my two attempts stayed in my Outbox, and when I tried resending one on two occasions once it said I needed to use a wifi network (what I have), and then it had exceeded the maximum size or something like that. Since then the app has frozen/died. If I launch the app I get almost a blank screen with iPad and the wifi symbol top left, time in the middle, battery symbol top right, then the screen has vertical and horizontal lines but absolutely no text. After about ten seconds that all vanishes and goes back to my home screen as if I'd closed the app. If I press the home button twice the mail app the mail shows in the background showing all my folders and one of the emails. In the bottom left it says Updated 5 minutes ago, but that was from when I was last able to use the app. I cannot click on any of the folders or anything else in the screen, it's totally frozen, but the clock and battery symbol show the correct details. That screen then closes after about ten seconds as if I've closed the app.Hope you can make sense of this and can come up with a solution. I know there are other mail apps I can use (like Outlook which I'm using now), but I do like the Mail app.Thanks,Janet.

Have you tried the highest rated email app?
With 4.5 stars in iTunes, the Yahoo Mail app is the highest rated email app on the market. What are you waiting for? Now you can access all your inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, AOL and more) in one place. Never delete an email again with 1000GB of free cloud storage.
