Yes, I deleted the email accounts so there were none there. It seems to be the app itself that is frozen. I did create an account afterwards, do you think it might help if I left it with no accounts for a while? Clutching at straws I know, I somehow don't think it will help. The Mail icon on the home page is still displaying the correct number of unread emails, nothing else has changed.
