I started doing this awhile ago, but stopped. I had been thinking of getting back to doing this, but each time I add a bunch of free books, I wonder if I'd ever catch up.

Sent from my iPadAlso, you can check your books on your "contents & devices" at amazon. Sometimes, I think I have that book, but on the book's page, it doesn't show that I bought the book. I usually guess right, that I had bought the book. There are different reasons why this occurs.Toby
Sent from my iPadI read books on the Kindle app on my iPad. I have set up a number of collections. The most important one is 'Already read' because I tend to read the same favorite authors and often don't remember, just by the title, if i have already read it.
