I don't know why you're having such a problem with syncing. Do you check
'apply' after you make your choices under each tab? that'll start the sync
process.

Are you switching tabs in the Big Window?
If you're switching sections using the 'contents' list under the device name
on the left, that'll trigger a 'you have changed settings do you want to
sync' box (or something like that).

Do you have not just the big Sync apps box at the top checked but the little
one *under* the apps-list-box *un*checked?

Make all the choices under each tab in the Big Window, *then* click apply or
sync.
