Thanks for the correction Jim. 

Now I also wonder if folding the cover behind the iPad will prevent it from lining up properly with the docking station. Although I suppose it wouldn't be any problem to leave the cover hanging and out of the way if that were the case.

Guessing is not helpful.

The only covers made by Apple for the iPad2 have NOTHING at the bottom, and should not interfere at all with the Apple dock for the iPad2.
