This does not sound good for the iPhone.Carol***************************************Call block for instance... I've heard that developers don't have access to that part of the design area. (I'm not technical enough to use the correct words).http://akaivyleaf-musings.blogspot.com/
I came from a Palm platform a few years ago before converting to the iPhone. I was very disappointed that I couldn't send a caller into oblivion just by setting their contact information to do so. I remember having the choice to "Pick up and hang up" which never allowed the person to leave a message, or to "block" the call which left the caller with a dead line every time they called. I was even able to block by wildcard characters. if the number was 1-800, 1-866, 1-877, etc There is nothing compatible to this feature with the iPhone. Even the Android phones have a choice when setting up a contact to block the number immediately.
The most I can do with my iphone is to set a silent ringtone, I'm used to the phone not even RINGING when I want to block a number.
