Whoops. I am so sorry to hear that you just bought your wife an HP laptop. Yes - you only paid $699 for it, but that is not all you got. You got tons of HP proprietary programs on it that can sometimes make the laptop play dead when you try to delete some of that crap. Also, let us all hear which processor you got.
Yes - I am an Apple lover, but my personal computer is a pc because of my business requirements. I teach computer classes frequently, and there are 2 computers that make me almost cry when I see them come to class. HP is one of those.
