I didn't say there wasn't s/w available for the Mac for whatever tasks. But
I do need to be able to use/read/refer to/get at files made over the years
in Windows (& even DOS) programs.
Example -- there may be no problem getting new email, but what about the
years of archives I already have?
another example -- what would be the learning curve when switching from
Windows version of Office programs to Mac versions? and what about things
like publishing s/w that's part of some MSO suites? I haven't used Outlook
much so wouldn't mind that much 'starting over' with it -- but starting over
with what?
