Oh yeah, they *work* I just have to know *what* to transfer & *where* to put
things. Programs have a nasty habit in recent years (maybe not-so-recent, at
that) of stashing files/settings/prefs/etc. in various secret nooks &
crannies. Not like in the old days when you just copied over a few data
files & that was that!
Anyhoo, I got a direct-connect cable I'm going to try; at least it'd mean
only *one* copying not a two-step. Still in process of setting up new pc &
installing s/w so the Big Switch will be a few days.
