I'd like the step by step tethering primer too; however on your iPhone,
although it has the capability of a wireless hot spot, you have to pay extra
to be able to use it. This isn't the same thing as tethering, though. If
you're on AT&T (I can't speak for Verizon), you have to sign up for, and pay
extra for, tethering with your iPhone. NOT with other phones AT&T offers.
