[iPad] First time sync and picture transfer

 

I've been trying to read as much as possible about getting started with IPad2 before mine arrives.

I may have misinterpreted what I read in the Idiots Guide to the IPad, but I thought it said that pictures would be automatically transferred from my Picture folder to my IPad.

I definitely do not want this to occur.

I don't want the few songs I have in my iTunes collection to be transferred either

Can I prevent these automatic transfers?
