Re: [MacBook] Drive recovery, Help!

Boot from an external drive, install Data Rescue and search for deleted
files (in expert mode). Then, in Mail, create a new mailbox and import the
files. Note, I don't use Apple Mail, but I think this should work.

This is an excellent example of why I recommend using a cloud-based service
such as GMail to archive your messages (or to switch to entirely).
