Not an "app" and it won't help if you don't already know the route,
or at least have a good idea of what areas you need to cover --
I do a search/directions at home and do screen prints of any routes I'm
going to be on, as well as possible alternates & bail-out-points.
I can drop pins at various places if I do searches right.
I also have...I know this is very antediluvian...paper map books well marked
up with "points of interest" & hi-lited routes.
