I got an iPad as a sort of giant iTouch, after finding myself practically
glued to my iTouch for several months & seeing how useful it is for all
sorts of things in & out of the house (even when I don't have wifi access).
Then I got an iPhone4 as a combo of my iTouch & my old dumb phone but with
even more features (that I may seldom use, but there *there* when I
want/need them). Easier to carry than 2 devices & the iTouch itself
"replaces" all sorts of self-entertainment toys for waiting-in-line, hanging
about, or whatever.
An in-between iPad would probably find a place in my life too. :-)
