I just discovered that text substitutions (defined in System Preferences/keyboard in macOS or Settings/General/Text Replacement in iOS) only work in iOS when using the standard keyboard, but not alternate keyboards (like Padkeys or ProKeyboard).
Have others seen this? If so, any workarounds other than switching to the default keyboard?
