If Yahoo-group users were requesting such changes to the "group"
format, then *possibly* one might understand the push to change.
However, this dramatic overhaul suggests to me, "I'll (the "I" here is
a Yahoo employee) keep my job at Yahoo by radically alteration of
'groups!' No one will understand it so I can answer questions, at my
own deliberate pace, forever!"
All I wanted from Yahoo was a return to their previously decent search
engine. Guess that's too trivial...
