Thanks! It also seems that the new update to the Kindle app seems to roll out on different days. I got it now on 2 of my 3 iDevices. That's where you have collections. You will know if you have it if you see bars in the upper left top corner.

The App Store doesn't always work correctly.  I sometimes have problems with it but I don't let it bother me.  In the end it always fixes itself with no help from me.

Thanks Pete. I was wondering if that would it. Yet, I had not clicked on update for the other apps yet. I was doing 1 at a time. That's what I find confusing. I don't know if it did or not. However, I did set the iPhone to auto update.

You might have updated all of the apps.  The iPhone keeps working even when the screen is off.

After ios7, I started to update apps one by one that showed up on my iPhone. Then, after it finished updating 1 of the apps, I went to home, then General on the Settings to increase the time from 1 min. to 5 min.'s so that my iPhone 5 wouldn't go to sleep while updating the apps, since I had many. When I went back to update the rest of the apps, they were gone. What happened?
