Re: [iPad] Ipad 4G - Heating

Pete, thanks for your good answer.  I will take care and switch it off when inside the bag.   I am happy that my new good iPad is normal and fine.  :-)

Batteries get hot when they're charging or discharging.  It's normal and the bag prevents heat dissipation so that doesn't help.

Good evening all.

I bought the new iPad, the big one, 4G, 64, wi-fi.

I noticed that it heats too much, mostly when with some app opened (in
the case, it was Angry Birds Star Wars), and I kept it inside a bag I
carry. When I took it out from the bag, I found it hot, very hot. I
never noticed that heating, or better, almost no heat at all with my old
iPad 2. I read at this iPad blog that the new iPad has this thing with
heating.

Is that normal? I am still on the 7-day store warranty, and I am
willing to exchange it for another one.

Thanks, for any reply.
