I did the reboot, it stuck on a screen telling me to go to iTunes. Aparently I lost everything during the reboot. iTunes says its inrestore mode. I've been trying to restore it from iTunes for hours, but the screen hasn't chnged on the iPad, and from time to time iTunes tells me the iPad must be restored before it can prceed. I thought that is what it was doing all these hours. I had hit the restore button on iTunes when it asked.
