Re: [iPad] Re: Screen protection

I have switched from screen protection and to  no screen protection several times. My main motivation with the screen protection was to reduce glare as my eyes are very sensitive and glare really bothers me. I originally preordered the iPad as I trusted Apple to do a great job and I have trouble reading at night with my weird eyes with very different corrections. (Glasses don't work either)

However after rethinking the issue when this topic came up I have removed my screen protector. The screen protector itself can get smudges and dings. Without the protector it is easier to clean. Since my Apple case is delaminating around the edges I purchased a Marware  C.E.O. Hybrid case which clips around the edges so I now have a big beautiful screen without obstructions. It is beautiful and very satisfying to look at.

What is the big to do over using a screen protector?

Why cover up a beautiful easy to clean face with a piece of plastic?  LOL

Yes, Jim. It is as easy as it sounds. The sticky backing that comes with the screen protector is the best way to remove the dust and specks from your iPad screen. I watch somebody did his first before I did mine. You can also use a can of "Dust Off" as most photographer use on their lenses.

Another famous phrase of the 90's: "Yes, you can do it" :)
