This is being typed using Dragon Dictate.  Dragon Dictate allows you to talk and the computer to type your words as you speak. Any arrows, I will blame on the soft wear. ;-)

 Have a great day

Yes, it says it will read epubs from any source, but they are lying, right now you can only read books from their store.  There is no way to import books from any other source.  It is promised in the near future.

Interesting. I swore the front page said it would read epubs.

Yeah does look cool. However when I start reading the FAQs it won't read iBooks or Kindle and it seems like almost that you have to purchase books through them. I like the readers I've got and use blue fire primarily.

Our Unique Approach to "Pages"

readYou won't see any gratuitous page turning animations with iFlow because there are no old-fashioned "pages" as such to turn. When you are trying to immerse yourself in story, we believe that such things are distracting.

navigateIn addition, by eliminating pages, we can offer you a number of ways to navigate through your book so that you can do it in the manner best suited to you and the material at hand. This approach allows us to take full advantage of the advanced capabilities offered by ebooks versus the less flexible paper books of the past.

We think you will like it!

ribbonInstead of pages, we present the book as a continuous ribbon of material. This allows positioning of your viewing window anywhere on that ribbon instead of forcing the arbitrary page breaks of paper books upon you. You can easily position and move the viewing window of your screen anywhere along this continuous ribbon in the following ways:

  • manual scroll

Manual Scrolling - This is like your email program where you use your finged to move the visible part of the message up and down.

  • paging

Paging - We don't have fixed pages, but the Next and Previous page buttons let you to move forward and back one "screenfull" at a time. It's sort of like pages, but the "page" breaks can be anywhere you want them.

  • trackball

Trackball - The virtual trackball let's you change your position in the book much like Manual Scrolling. This is great for those who don't want to get their fingerprints on the screen. Blackberry users will like this.

  • autoscroll

AutoScrolling - This feature lets you read your book much like a teleprompter. You can control the scrolling speed by slightly tilting the screen towards and away from you with or with the Faster/Slower buttons. You can also disable the Tilt Control and set a fixed AutoScroll speed.

All of the ways of moving through the text can be used interchangeably any time. If you page forward and you want to adjust the page up or down a little to get exactly what you want on the screen, just drag it up or down a little with your finger or use the Trackball.

autoscroll pause and resumeIf you are AutoScrolling and it gets ahead of you, you can just drag it back a little in the same way and when you let go,AutoScrolling will resume at the same speed. You can also do the same thing in the opposite direction to skim over part of the text.

autoscroll with large fontsAutoScrolling lets you use very large fonts without the distraction of paging every few seconds. If you find AutoScrolling appealing, we suggest that you experiment a bit to find the font size/scrolling speed combination that works best for you. If you normally wear reading glasses, you might find that you can read comfortably with a very large font. Remember also that the buttons and trackball at the bottom of the screen are still there in full screen mode. This mode is best for immersive material.
