I doubt they would delete all membership lists. (if they were going to go that far, they'd be better off deleting all groups, too, and starting it from scratch.)
But past posts?
Does anyone care to go back and look at any past posts in this group?
In most groups?
If there were references to anything useful, haven't you used them by now, or marked them outside the post?
