I jailbroke my immediately have haven't regretted it yet. You just have to wait until your version (or higher) of the iPad OS gets jailbroken. Have fun with it until.

i agree one should use it as intended first.
That said, reasons for jailbreak abound, ranging from GUI customization (Themeing) to unrestricting folders limitations, enabling HDR in 3Gs iphones, additional touch gestures, lock screen info, toggles for data, wifi, 3g, etc.but to each their own. Not everyone likes their iphone to look and act 100% like Steve Jobs' iphone. i think jailbreaking is akin to painting your dirk bike you just bought before riding it, maybe changing out some OEM parts for better aftermarket ones.`KM--

Try it out, look for a piece of software that does what you want. There are hundreds of free tools, and thousands of programs to add, and the group can help find specific functions.
Jailbreaking it now, just because some hobbyist hackers talk about it a lot, seems as extreme as tearing out the engine and seats of a new car before driving it.

Any suggestions on putting it back to 3.2???? I've tried the method you go into the etc folder and edit that file in NotePad and that doesn't work.....
