[MacBook] david and all

Hi David,
I ordered my MBP from amazon, cheaper than Apple and Best Buy so I will check it out for Apple Care in a month or so.   No doubt it will be the same as with the iPad.   Care will start from the day I purchased the MBP, not the day I get it or the day I  decide to get Apple Care!
If my printer hadn't died, I'd print this to take to the library with me!  Looks like I'm going to have to figure out how to have two screens available at the same time.
Karen

Karen, I whole heartedly agree with Dunc.

We just got a brand new MBP & there were many updates of Mac software needed.  That is because the computer was built many months ago and has never been upgraded.  Also after updating software you need to run repair permissions

Apple Care, iWork, Mobile Me are all cheaper at Amazon
