If I was perfectly and equally happy with iOS or Android or WP, iTunes would swing it for me. Sync, backup, restore, its all there

iTunes. Love it or hate it, most other phone vendors offer nothing or inadequate solutions for backing up your data to your PC.
On device stores are great, but there are still times when you want to download the content on the computer and then sync to the device or not.
I bought Estate of Panic this weekend and love that I don't have to download it to my device. I could watch it on the iMac or the TV via the Apple TV. I like the flexibility of the iTunes Store.
I fought the iTunes beast for many years and still have most of my movie collection in non-Apple format and watch them via AirVideo or Flex for iOS. 95% of my music is MP3 instead of the AAC.

Odd to see iTunes in the list though as many seem to hate it, including Apple people. I like it a lot, for the functions that it provides as a one stop management hub
