Re: [iPad] For those decrying Apple not keeping up with the competition

Screen quality really starts from the retina which was the 4 from memory, although nowadays the pixel count is better on some other phones including the S4. However, if the S4  uses the pentile screen as the S3 does, thats a fake way to get a high pixel count, and it isnt very good.

I will post the YouTube articles on iOS vs Android when home tonight. Its Android biased as expected, and I ignore some of the features/comment that to me is irrelevant or picky, or anti for the sake of being anti, but to me there are some nice things in there that I'd like in iOS.

I do get the feeling that I am being targeted here, but in my defense I am very pro Apple, and I see nothing wrong with constructive criticism, for or against. There are soem very nice functions in Android, but many aspects that are bad, or poor.   I have 2 iPhones, 2 iPads, Apple TV, iPod Classic, and I have had iDevices since the iPhone4. Two of my three daughters and son in law have one now, as do six friends based upon my experiences and recommendations. Off course I am assuming that Jims post was due to me recent comments.

5 points:
1. Screen quality -- hardware, not OS
2. Battery life -- partly hardware, partly OS
3. Music -- proprietary App, not so much OS *or* hardware
4. App Store -- proprietary App, and OS
5. Compatibility -- clearly an OS issue

> While I do agree with the article, on second thinking of it it does seem odd as the S4 is not released so no one supposedly knows the innards.

PCPro <http://www.pcpro.co.uk/news/380194/samsung-galaxy-s4-price-specs-release-date-revealed> says:

> The Samsung Galaxy S4 has been unveiled in New York. Samsung's flagship smartphone has a host of high-end hardware features and a battery of new Samsung services to go with it.

When you find it, then post it here.
