Re: [iPad] Putting apps on a gift iPad

For my mom's Christmas ipod touch, I set up an itunes account for her, using my credit card and my dad's e-mail address.  My dad had to click to verify the e-mail address, which is why I set it up using his e-mail address instead of hers.  I also gave him the password so that after I finish loading it up, he can go in and change the credit card to one of theirs.  Then I've just been downloading apps on the ipod touch rather than hooking it up to my itunes.  Watching AppAdvice and AppShopper for fun Apps for the grandkids . . .

I am giving a grandkid an iPad for Christmas. How do I go about putting some apps on before sending, and not getting that iPad associated with my user account?

TIA,

Bill
